Alongside the forthcoming release of the latest James Bond film, “Quantum of Solace” on November 14, Sony will release the Limited-Edition 007 Vaio TT laptop. Sony will also launch the “Mission for a Million” promotional campaign in which laptop enthusiasts can compete for $1 million. The promotion will run through November 7, the mission is for “agents” to take advantage of the virtual high-definition items such as the 007 Vaio TT laptop in order to solve missions in a search for Sony’s HDNA, which has been stolen. After customers complete each mission, they will be entered for a chance to win $1 million and a trip to a classified location.

The Senior Vice-President of Corporate Marketing at Sony Electronics, Stuart Redsun says, “Sony’s reputation for premium technology and great entertainment work well with Bond’s legacy and innovation.” He continues, “The film’s anticipated arrival is a perfect opportunity to tell Sony’s high-definition story to consumers in an interactive way.”

The Sony Limited-Edition 007 Vaio TT laptop has all of the features that you would expect to find on a Bond-worthy machine such as a 1.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor SU9400; 250GB SSD from dual 128GB RAID; 4GB DDR3 RAM; Bluetooth; Ethernet; 802.11 b/g/n; MemoryStick Pro; built-in webcam; SD slot; as well as a 2X speed Blu-ray burner. The sleek 007 Vaio TT laptop also includes the 007 logo as well as a matching leather case.
