Pink, red, blue, brown, white - those used to be the colors of shoes, handbags, hats. Not long ago they became the colors of iPods, and now those are the colors of the trendy colored laptops that are taking the fashion-conscious computer users by storm. Laptops are no longer boring machines, now they are stylish accessories. As the tendency is to customize as many of your tech belongings as possible, soon most laptops would be offered in different colors.

Colored laptops are the hottest trend on the portable computers’ market now. The largest laptop manufacturers are competing to offer more colors and various models for their customers. In the beginning there were the innovative white Mac Books. Sony and Dell were among the first to follow them and expand on the idea - they started offering not only white ones, but almost any other color of the rainbow.

Nowadays, personalization is one of the determining factors for many of the purchases we make. Each person is unique and the opportunity to express who we are through our belongings will continue to be highly valued. It is not a surprise that colored laptops have such a success - consumers love to customize the products they purchase to match their personality and specific needs. Pink is among the most popular colors that young women pick. And the colors that attract men are brown and blue. The neutral white is a favorite of both women and men.

All those colored laptops come either in glossy or matt finish. In general, most people find the glossy finish more appealing, but its downside is that fingerprints are very visible in such surface. A matt finish is much more resistant to fingerprints.

Of course, not only the outside of your new laptop is important - you should consider the memory, hard drive, and all other key specifications. When making your choice you should take those into consideration, because the investment you’re making is not small. Your colored laptop should be powerful, fast, and reliable too.
